    1. Introduction

    This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how Adceptional LLC, an Illinois limited liability company doing business as Adceptional AI (“Adceptional,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with the website located at adceptional.io (the “Site”) and the related services, content, and communications offered by Adceptional (collectively, together with the Site, the “Services”).

    By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described herein, please discontinue use of the Services.

    2. Scope

    This Policy applies to personal information that Adceptional collects from or about (a) visitors to the Site; (b) prospective, current, and former clients and the personnel of such clients; (c) individuals who submit inquiries, request assessments, schedule consultations, or otherwise communicate with Adceptional through the Services; and (d) recipients of Adceptional’s marketing communications. This Policy does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any third-party application or content that may link to or be accessible from the Services.

    3. Information We Collect

    3.1 Information You Provide Directly

    We collect personal information that you voluntarily submit through the Services, including, without limitation:

    • Identifiers and Contact Information. Name, business name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, and similar identifiers.
    • Professional and Business Information. Job title, role, industry, company size, revenue range, technology stack, operational characteristics, and other information you submit through assessments, intake forms, or scheduling tools.
    • Inquiry and Communication Content. The contents of messages, form submissions, e-mails, voicemails, and other communications you direct to Adceptional, including any attachments thereto.
    • Booking Information. Calendar availability, meeting preferences, and scheduling details submitted in connection with consultations or audits.

    3.2 Information Collected Automatically

    When you access or use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information regarding your device and your interaction with the Services, including:

    • Device and Connection Data. Internet Protocol (IP) address, device type, operating system, browser type and version, language preference, screen resolution, and approximate geographic location derived from such information.
    • Usage Data. Pages or screens viewed, referring and exit pages, links clicked, time spent on the Services, dates and times of access, and similar diagnostic and analytics information.
    • Cookies and Similar Technologies. Information collected through cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, local storage, and substantially similar technologies, as further described in Section 6 below.

    3.3 Information from Third Parties

    We may receive personal information about you from third parties, including, without limitation, our service providers (such as analytics providers, customer relationship management platforms, and scheduling tools), publicly available sources, professional referral partners, and persons who interact with or refer you to the Services.

    4. Purposes for Which We Use Personal Information

    We process personal information for the following purposes:

    1. to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
    2. to respond to inquiries, fulfill requests, and otherwise communicate with you, including in connection with assessments, consultations, audits, proposals, statements of work, and engagements;
    3. to administer, deliver, and bill for professional services that you or your organization engages Adceptional to perform;
    4. to send transactional and administrative communications, including confirmations, scheduling notices, service updates, security alerts, and notices regarding changes to our policies or terms;
    5. to send marketing and promotional communications regarding Adceptional’s services, where permitted by applicable law and subject to your right to opt out at any time;
    6. to monitor, analyze, and understand usage of the Services and to develop and improve our offerings;
    7. to detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, violations of our terms, and other unlawful or harmful activity;
    8. to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, and lawful requests from public authorities, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
    9. to evaluate, negotiate, or consummate corporate transactions, including any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction; and
    10. for any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection or to which you have consented.

    5. Disclosure of Personal Information

    We do not sell personal information. We may, however, disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

    • Service Providers and Processors. We disclose personal information to third-party vendors, contractors, agents, and service providers that perform services on our behalf, including, without limitation, hosting providers, customer relationship management and marketing automation platforms (including GoHighLevel), e-mail and communications providers, scheduling tools, analytics providers, payment processors, and professional advisors. Such service providers are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to Adceptional and are bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
    • Affiliates and Business Partners. We may disclose personal information to our corporate affiliates and to professional partners with whom we collaborate to deliver the Services, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
    • Legal and Compliance Disclosures. We may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena, or governmental request; (b) enforce our terms of service or other agreements, including investigation of potential violations; (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, safety, or interests of Adceptional, our personnel, our clients, or the public.
    • Corporate Transactions. We may disclose or transfer personal information in connection with any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of all or a portion of our assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction or proceeding.
    • With Your Consent. We may disclose personal information with your consent or at your direction.

    6. Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies

    The Services use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate, secure, and analyze the Services. “Cookies” are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use both session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain until deleted or expired. Categories of technologies used include strictly necessary, functional, performance and analytics, and (where applicable) advertising or targeting technologies.

    You may control cookies through your browser settings and other tools. If you reject cookies, certain features of the Services may not function properly. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device.

    The Services may use third-party analytics tools (such as, in the future, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics) that collect and process information regarding your use of the Services. The information collected by such tools is governed by the privacy policies of the applicable third parties.

    8. Data Retention

    We retain personal information for so long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including, without limitation, to provide the Services, comply with our legal, accounting, tax, and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer required, we will securely delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.

    9. Information Security

    We implement and maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Notwithstanding such measures, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    10. International Data Transfers

    Adceptional is established in the United States, and personal information that we collect will be processed in the United States and may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions. Such jurisdictions may have data-protection laws that differ from those of your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we will implement appropriate safeguards in connection with such transfers.

    11. Children’s Privacy

    The Services are intended for adult, business audiences and are not directed to children under the age of sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under sixteen (16). If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under sixteen (16) without verified parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.

    12. Your Rights and Choices

    12.1 Marketing Opt-Out

    You may opt out of receiving marketing communications from Adceptional at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in such communications or by contacting us as set forth in Section 15 below. Notwithstanding any opt-out, we may continue to send you transactional and administrative communications relating to the Services.

    12.2 Notice to California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

    If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), provides you with certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to (a) know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected; (b) request deletion of personal information, subject to certain exceptions; (c) request correction of inaccurate personal information; (d) opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (Adceptional does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA); and (e) be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights. To exercise these rights, please contact us as set forth in Section 15 below. We will verify your request consistent with the requirements of the CCPA before responding.

    12.3 Notice to Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)

    If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, applicable data-protection law (including the General Data Protection Regulation and the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation) provides you with certain rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to (a) access; (b) rectification; (c) erasure; (d) restriction of processing; (e) data portability; (f) objection to processing; and (g) lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your jurisdiction. The legal bases on which we rely to process your personal information include the performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (including operating and improving the Services and securing the Services), compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where required.     The Services may contain links to, or otherwise integrate with, third-party websites, applications, and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site or service before providing them with personal information.

    We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means, which may include posting a revised version on the Site. Your continued use of the Services following the effective date of any revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of such revised Policy.
